When pulling away, only depress the accel-

erator pedal as far as is necessary.

Adapt your driving style to suit the prevail-

ing road and weather conditions.

ECO start/stop function

The ECO start/stop function switches the

engine off automatically if the vehicle stops

moving. When pulling away again, the engine

starts automatically. ESP

remains in its pre-

viously selected status. Example: if ESP

was deactivated before the engine was

switched off, ESP

®

remains deactivated when

the engine is switched on again.

as soon as the situations

You can activate and deactivate ESP

the on-board computer.

You cannot activate and deactivate ESP

vehicles with a 4-button multifunction steer-

ing wheel.

will not stabilise the vehicle.

If you deactivate ESP

no longer improves driving stability.

engine torque is no longer limited and the

drive wheels are able to spin.

The spinning of the wheels results in a cut-

ting action for better traction on loose sur-

faces.
