To open: turn rotary catch : 90° in the

direction of the arrow and remove side trim

panel ;.

To close: insert side trim panel ; and turn

rotary catch : 90° in the opposite direc-

tion to the arrow.

Tail lamps

Switch off the lights.

Open the boot.

Open the side trim panel (Y page 128).

Remove the tail lamp connector

Simultaneously press retaining lugs : in

the direction of the arrow and slightly pull

out the bulb holder with the bulbs.

Remove the connector for LED light func-

tions from the top of the bulb holder.

Pull the bulb holder out with the bulbs.

Reversing lamp

Brake lamp

Side lamp/brake lamp

Press the respective bulb :, ; or = back

and turn it anti-clockwise to remove it from

the bulb holder.

Insert the new bulb into the bulb holder and

turn it clockwise.

Reinsert the connector for LED light func-

tions in the bulb holder.

Insert the bulb holder again and lock it in

place.

Insert the tail lamp connector.

Close the side trim panel (Y page 128).

Windscreen wipers

Switching the windscreen wipers on/

off

Do not operate the windscreen wipers

when the windscreen is dry, as this could

damage the wiper blades. Moreover, dust

that has collected on the windscreen can

scratch the glass if wiping takes place when

the windscreen is dry.

If the windscreen wipers leave smears on

the windscreen after the vehicle has been

washed in an automatic car wash, this may

be due to wax or other residue. Clean the

windscreen with washer fluid after an auto-

matic car wash.

Rain sensor set to low sensitivity.
