Locking and unlocking

If the SmartKey with KEYLESS-GO* is valid,

your vehicle unlocks

앫 the doors

앫 the glove box

앫 the trunk lid

앫 the fuel filler flap

Important notes on using KEYLESS-GO*

앫 You can also use the SmartKey with

KEYLESS-GO like a normal SmartKey

(

컄 page 88).

앫 You can combine KEYLESS-GO func-

tions with normal SmartKey functions

(e.g. unlocking with KEYLESS-GO and

locking with the remote control).

앫 Always carry the SmartKey with

KEYLESS-GO with you.

앫 Never store the SmartKey with

KEYLESS-GO together with:

앫 electronic items such as a cellular

phone or another SmartKey with

KEYLESS-GO

앫 metallic objects such as coins or

metal foil

When leaving the vehicle, always remove the

SmartKey from the starter switch, take the

SmartKey with KEYLESS-GO with you and

lock the vehicle. Do not leave children unat-

tended in the vehicle, or with access to an

unlocked vehicle. Unsupervised use of vehi-

cle equipment may cause an accident

and/or serious personal injury.

You can also open and close the soft

SmartKey.

If the vehicle has been parked for a

longer period of time, you must pull the

door handle in order to activate the

KEYLESS-GO function.
