ACTIVE VENTILATED FRONT SEATS

• Use miniature internal fans to draw

air from beneath the seat and expel it

through perforations in the upholstery

DYNAMIC MULTICONTOUR

FRONT SEATBACKS

• Pneumatically adjustable chambers:

– Three in the lumbar region

– Two near the shoulders

– One in each side bolster

• Slowly pulsating massage feature, using

the central lumbar chamber

• Optional on S 430 and S 500

• Standard on S 600



DRIVE-DYNAMIC FRONT SEATS

• Automatically inflate and deflate the

side bolsters to provide added lateral

support in response to cornering forces

• Standard on S 55 AMG and S 65 AMG

• Not available on S 430, S 500 and S 600

• Include dynamic multicontour seatbacks



POWER REAR BENCH SEAT

• Standard on S 600 and S 65 AMG

• Optional on all other models

• Power-adjustable seatback angle — via

door-mounted seat-shaped switches — for

each outboard position (seat slides

forward 2.4 inches, while the seatback

reclines about 10 degrees)

• Also includes:

– Pneumatic lumbar support for each

outboard position

– A fixed center seating position

– Power head restraints (from raised

to retracted position, and vice-versa)

that rise automatically when occupant

4-PLACE SEATING PACKAGE

• Optional on S 55 AMG, S 600 and

S 65 AMG

• Replaces rear bench seat with two

individual rear seats, each featuring:

– Power-adjustable seatback angle, via

– Power seat cushion tilt

– Dynamic multicontour seatbacks

– Power head restraints (from raised to

retracted position, and vice-versa)

• Includes a rear center storage console

with a wood-trimmed rolltop cover,

and rear-passenger control of the front

passenger seat’s position
