앫 Use the joystick to select “Avoid

Road” and press .

The Avoid Road menu appears.

앫 Use the joystick to select the streets

you want to avoid and press .

앫 After you select all the streets you want

to avoid, use the joystick to select “OK

to proceed” and press .

The MCS returns to the Route Select

menu and recalculates the route.

When you are traveling on an express-

way or a freeway, the system calculates

a new route avoiding the current road

for a distance of five miles. On county

and local roads, the system calculates a

new route avoiding the current road for

a distance of one mile.
