What to do if …

Distronic Currently unavailable

DISTRONIC* is switched off if:

앫 the DISTRONIC cover in the area

of the radiator grille is dirty

앫 the functionality is impaired by

heavy rain or thick fog

왘 If necessary, clean the DISTRONIC cover in

the area of the radiator grille.

왘 Restart the vehicle.

DISTRONIC* becomes operational again with-

out the engine being restarted when:

앫 dirt on the grille falls off while driving (e.g.

slush or snow)

앫 the system recognizes full sensor availabili-

ty (due to lessening rain or the road surface

drying)

앫 the message in the multifunction display

disappears

앫 the speed last stored flashes in the display

for five seconds.

You can operate DISTRONIC* as usual again.
