There is a risk of damaging the en-

왘 Have oil siphoned. Observe all legal require-

ments with respect to its disposal.

The engine oil has dropped to a crit-

ical level.

There is water in the oil.

왘 Check the engine oil level (컄 page 228) and

add oil as required.

왘 If you must add engine oil frequently, have

the engine checked for possible leaks.

왘 Have the oil checked.

The measuring system is malfunc-

tioning.

왘 Have the measuring system checked by an

authorized Mercedes-Benz Center.
