Road Fund Licence

All road vehicle registrations are subject to Vehicle Excise Duty (RoadFund

Licence), which varies in accordance with the vehicle’sCO

A first year rate of Vehicle Excise Duty applies to new cars on their first year

of registration. For the second and subsequent years a standard rate for each

taxation band will apply
