The features responsible for the significant increase in

driving pleasure are the lowered sports suspension engi-

neered

by AMG, sportier engine and accelerator tuning,

the AMG speed-sensitive sports steering, the sportier tuning

of the automatic transmission 7G-DCT plus perforated

brake discs at the front. The rich engine sound from the

exhaust system provides an additional thrill. AMG 5-twin-

spoke light-alloy wheels, painted black and with a high-

sheen finish, with 235

40 R 18

tyres, bring the power to

the road in style.

The powerful AMG bodystyling sets the pulse racing faster

even at first sight. The striking front and rear apron with

red trim and side sill panels plus the diamond radiator grille

with pins in silver, a louvre in black and insert in silver

chrome emphasise the dynamism of the sports models from

every perspective. The appearance is rounded off by red

brake callipers and “SPORT” lettering on the front wings.

Sportiness abounds in the interior, too: with sports seats

offering excellent lateral support and the multifunction

sports steering wheel with its flattened bottom section

and a 3-spoke design for optimum handling. The AMG

Performance seats are optionally available for the sports

models. The upholstery in ARTICO man-made leather

DINAMICA microfibre with red contrasting topstitching adds

further sporty flourishes, as do the red rings around the

air vents and the trim elements in light longitudinal-grain

aluminium. The interior is given the perfect finishing

touches

with designo seat belts in red, the sports pedals

in brushed stainless steel and the floor mats in black

with “SPORT” lettering, black piping and red topstitching.
